Data Engineer JLL Technologies Centre of Expertise What this job involves: #JLLTechAmbitions About the role JLL, an international real estate management company, is seeking a Business Analyst to join our JLL Technologies Team. This position will design and build Data and Business Intelligence solutions within the context of our applications and other client based customised needs. We are looking for a candidate with SSIS, SSRS, Alteryx and Tableau development experience along with expertise in Data Management using SQL. This individual will also have broad experience in database design and back-end development. Responsibilities Perform data management analysis using SSIS, Alteryx and SQL, including retrieving data from multiple sources, profiling, processing, validating, and migrating data to centralized data platforms. Regularly work in SQL and be able to create views, tables, and develop queries to answer questions Design, develop and deploy BI solutions, including interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI, sourcing data from internal MS SQL Server databases, Tableau published data sources, external sources, and leveraging ETL tools when needed. Devise and promote creative data visualizations, reports, tools, and dashboards to derive actionable real-time insights to business data pertinent to the audience (Tableau, etc.) Validate the calculations and results against known figures, other reports, peer reviews, etc. Develops, executes, and monitors simple to moderately complex data management analytic processes to support ad hoc data and information delivery for assigned projects Proactively identify opportunities to optimize the performance and efficiency of existing processes/procedures Translate the business questions and hypothesis into a data analysis plan. Execute the analysis either autonomously or in collaboration with others, depending on what the task calls for. Translate the results of the analysis into actionable recommendations and concrete answers to the business questions Independently develop, execute, and monitor complex data management/analytic processes to ensure deadlines are met for all assigned deliverables Provide subject matter expertise for all data related processes and analysis Sounds like you To apply you need to be: Experience & Education Bachelors or masters degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems, MIS, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field 0+ years of deep technical experience in database environments specializing in SQL Server 0+ years experience in ETL technologies like SSIS , Alteryx 0+ years of experience in Tableau Dashboard development. Experience producing technical design documentation. High level of technical skills with demonstrated ability to manage, manipulate, analyse raw data, research data issues, draw conclusions, provide resolution, and develop actionable recommendations Must have demonstrated experience in building and analysing reports and dashboards along with summarizing the data for business users - Able to take abstract ideas or requirements and work independently towards development of a report/dashboard Business analysis, consulting/advisory and/or project or client management experience will be a strong plus Strong SQL skills with experience developing complex queries and stored procedures Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Azure, and Big Data technologies would be a plus. Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; can communicate comfortably across several levels including senior managers Impeccable attention to details and never compromising attitude for data accuracy Reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual capable of planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment Broad understanding of the Corporate Real Estate business is a plus Technical Skills & Competencies BI Development Tableau, SSRS Data Development SSIS Alteryx SQL Server (sql/stored procedures/views/SSIS) Database design/normalization experience Database Performance tuning Cloud Technologies Azure , AWS AI Application Architecture : Design and implementation of enterprise-grade AI solutions LangGraph & Langchain : Experience building complex AI agent workflows and applications Azure AI Integration : Proficiency with Azure OpenAI Service and related Azure AI offerings Open Source AI Models : Experience deploying and customizing open source LLMs React Application Development : Frontend development for AI-powered applications
