Data Centre (Transient CFD, CRADLE)

About the Role:

We are looking for a CFD Engineer with strong expertise in Transient CFD simulations for Data Centre cooling applications. The candidate will work on projects involving airflow, thermal management, rack-level heat dissipation, and HVAC optimization using Cradle CFD or similar tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform transient CFD simulations for data centre cooling and airflow optimization.
• Build and validate 3D CFD models for racks, servers, and HVAC systems.
• Use Cradle CFD / scSTREAM / scFLOW (or equivalent tools like ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM) for simulations.
• Analyze airflow distribution, pressure drop, and temperature management for mission-critical facilities.
• Generate technical reports, interpret CFD results, and provide design recommendations.
• Collaborate with design, HVAC, and electrical teams for system optimization.
• Ensure models comply with ASHRAE guidelines and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s in Mechanical Engineering / Thermal Engineering / Aerospace / CFD Specialization.
• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in CFD.
• Strong knowledge of Cradle CFD (scSTREAM, scFLOW, scTETRA) or similar transient CFD tools.
• Experience in data centre thermal management, HVAC design, or electronics cooling.
• Proficiency in mesh generation, transient simulations, and post-processing.
• Knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
• Ability to create clear reports and client presentations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
