Mechanical Fitter / General Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter to assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical components and systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of technical drawings, mechanical systems, and safety protocols, and will be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Assemble and fit mechanical components according to specifications.
• Install machinery and equipment in workshops or client sites.
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems.
• Operate hand and power tools, lathes, grinders, and other workshop equipment.
• Inspect and test assembled components to ensure proper function.
• Follow health and safety standards at all times.
• Report faulty equipment and assist in root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers, welders, and electricians during installations or repairs.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Fitting, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant trade certification.
• Proven experience as a fitter or in a similar mechanical role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and assembly procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial environment.

Working Conditions:

• May involve standing for long periods, lifting heavy equipment, or working in confined spaces.
• Work environment may include workshops, factories, construction sites, or maintenance facilities.

Pay: ₹10,465.19 - ₹24,299.85 per month
