There is never a dull moment as each day presents itself with different challenges. Some of the key responsibilities you will undertake are:. You will troubleshoot technical issues on advanced hardware, ranging from servers, storage and networking devices on a 24/7 basis.. You will maintain a high level of system reliability and availability.. You will participate in projects to enhance operational efficiencies with opportunities to share experiences and knowledge with our global network of technical experts.. You will share knowledge and help train less technical staff on the best practices related to all service owner issues. Server Hardware and network fiber hands-on
. Experience in Network troubleshooting, Optical Fiber Cabling, Switches and Routers . Understanding of Linux/Unix Administration . Comfortable acting as escalation, Strong written and verbal communication skills with the business
. Remote Access: Console routers, IPMI, BMC
. Network Equipment Installation and Configuration. Cisco IOS, NX-OS, JunOS. Redundancy: Power feeds, ATS, Server Hardware, RAID, Network Connectivity. Data Center Operations: Inventory Management, Hot/Cold Aisles, Security. Participated in Project Management. Experience or Knowledge of AWS products: EC2, EBS, S3 etc.. Scripting: Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby (or programming languages) . Linux certification and/or administration experience - RHCSA/RHCE, LPIC, Linux+. Networking certification - CCENT/CCNA, Network+.
