Data Architect

Summary

We are looking for a visionary Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and intelligent data platforms. You will play a critical role in shaping our data strategy, enabling advanced analytics, and driving innovation through modern data architecture principles.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and evolve enterprise-wide data architecture aligned with business goals.

- Build and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming pipelines.

- Develop and enforce data governance, data quality, and metadata management frameworks.

- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to define data models, APIs, and data contracts.

- Architect solutions using cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless technologies.

- Implement data mesh, data fabric, or lakehouse architectures as needed.

- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (PCI DSS, GDPR).

- Optimize data lineage, observability, and cost efficiency across platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.

- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and distributed data systems (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Flink).

- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks.

- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, data orchestration (Airflow, dbt, Prefect).

- Familiarity with data cataloging tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Amundsen).

- Experience with CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), and DevOps for data.

- Understanding of AI/ML data pipelines and feature stores (e.g., Feast, Tecton).

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics).

- Experience implementing data mesh or domain-oriented data ownership.

- Exposure to data security frameworks, zero trust architecture, and RBAC/ABAC models.

- Knowledge of graph databases, semantic layers, or knowledge graphs.
