Data Architect- Snowflake

As a Snowflake Data Architect at 3Pillar, you will be at the forefront of the organization, supporting clients in taking control of their data and extracting value from it by defining a reference architecture. Your role involves close collaboration with business leaders and information management teams to establish and execute a roadmap for data management, business intelligence, or analytics solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions using Snowflake. - Design and implement robust data models (star, snowflake, normalized, and denormalized) for reporting and analytics purposes. - Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing tools like Informatica, dbt, Talend, Matillion, or custom scripts. - Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, caching, resource monitors, and query tuning. - Integrate Snowflake with various data sources including cloud storage (S3, Azure Blob), APIs, RDBMS, and real-time systems. - Implement security best practices such as data masking, access controls, and role-based access (RBAC). - Collaborate with stakeholders including data engineers, analysts, BI developers, and business users to understand requirements and offer technical guidance. - Define and enforce data governance, data quality, and metadata management policies. - Stay abreast of emerging Snowflake features and industry trends to enhance architecture and processes continuously. - Coordinate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders for data-related requirements. - Mentor junior members, lead initiatives, and contribute to the growth of the Data Science & Analytics Practice. - Provide thought leadership by representing the Practice/Organization on internal and external platforms. **Qualifications Required:** - Translate business requirements into data requests, reports, and dashboards. - Strong understanding of database & modeling concepts with exposure to SQL & NoSQL Databases. - Proficiency in data architecture patterns & principles, designing secure & scalable data lakes, warehouses, hubs, and event-driven architectures. - Expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes. - Extensive experience with Snowflake and its components. - Knowledge of Master Data Management and related tools. - Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA) and best practices. - Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and quality. - Experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, DynamoDB, EMR, Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, Quicksight, RDS, Kinesis, Managed Kafka, API Gateway, CloudWatch. - Ability to implement data validation processes and establish data quality standards. - Proficiency in Linux and scripting. - Skilled in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar for creating meaningful insights. **Additional Experience Desired:** - Experience with data ingestion tools such as Fivetran, Stitch, or Matillion. - Familiarity with AWS IOT solutions. - Exposure to Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica. - Knowledge of GCP Data services. - Exposure to AI/ML technologies.,
