As a Sr. Engineer Data Support at Dataction, you will play a critical role within our Data Engineering support team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation, stability, and performance of our data platforms and pipelines by implementing enhancements, addressing issues, and optimizing data operations. The ideal candidate should possess a robust technical background in Snowflake, DBT, SQL, AWS, and various data integration tools, along with exceptional problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities. **Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with Engineering and Business teams to resolve live issues and implement improvements. - Investigate data-related problems, troubleshoot discrepancies, and deliver timely solutions. - Enhance operational efficiency by automating manual processes through scripting and tool integrations. - Conduct regular health checks and proactive monitoring to maintain system stability and performance. - Manage incident response activities, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution coordination. - Keep stakeholders informed about platform status, incidents, and resolutions. - Administer and maintain platforms across AWS, Snowflake, DBT, and related technologies. - Ensure smooth data operations by working with data pipelines and tools like HVR, Stitch, Fivetran, and Terraform. - Continuously enhance monitoring, alerting, and operational workflows to minimize downtime and boost performance. **Qualifications, Skills, And Experience:** - 5+ years of relevant experience in data operations. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Proficiency in AWS, Snowflake, DBT, HVR, Stitch, Fivetran, and Terraform for managing data platforms. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for issue diagnosis and resolution. - Experience in incident management, system monitoring, and automation. - Ability to script in SQL and Python for automation and data analysis. - Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
