Data Architect - Python

As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for leading, analyzing, designing, and delivering analytics solutions and applications, including statistical data models, reports, and dashboards in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as corresponding cloud-based EDW database platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery. You must have a minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in the role of a data architect for Data Warehouse and Analytics solutions. Your role will involve leveraging your 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a strong understanding of the ingestion and consumption processes in Data Lakes. You should also have 3+ years of experience in cloud-based EDW platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse, and be adept at building and launching new data models that provide intuitive analytics for analysts and customers. In this position, you will be expected to work with and analyze large datasets within the relevant domains of enterprise data, as well as demonstrate strong experience in Data Warehouse ETL design and development, methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices. Proficiency in writing complex SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX scripts, and understanding of performance tuning and troubleshooting aspects are also crucial aspects of this role. Furthermore, you should possess good communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record of using insights to influence executives and colleagues. Additionally, having awareness or expertise in data security, data access controls, DevOps tools, and development frameworks like SCRUM/Agile will be beneficial. Your responsibilities will also include recommending solutions to improve cloud and existing Datawarehouse solutions, as well as showcasing the new capabilities of advanced analytics to business and technology teams to demonstrate the potential of the Data platform.
