Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement data solutions using AWS Glue and other AWS services.
• Understand requirements, design and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Develop and maintain data models for structured and semi-structured data, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Write, optimize, and manage SQL queries and stored procedures for data processing and analytics.
• Conduct data analysis to support business intelligence and decision-making.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and architecture.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to maintain system reliability and performance.
• Review work products, provide guidance to data integration developers, analysts.
• Interface with onshore architects, customers to provide solution overview and estimates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, AWS IAM, and other AWS data services.
• Hands-on experience with ETL development and data pipeline orchestration.
• Proficiency in SQL and database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift, or Snowflake.
• Solid understanding of data modeling (relational and dimensional) and schema design.
• Experience with Python or Scala for data transformation and automation.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to machine learning pipelines and data lake architectures.
• Experience with Talend Data Integration
• AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics-Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Exposure to Azure Data Integration technologies
