The Product Research & Development (PRD) organization at Lilly focuses on discovering, developing, and delivering innovative medicines to patients through various therapeutic approaches. This multidisciplinary group collaborates with therapeutic business units and manufacturing to bring Lilly's clinical portfolio to patients worldwide. Through a combination of domain expertise, lab experimentation, computational modeling, and data sciences, the PRD organization drives innovation in process development and product design. As a Power Platform Expert at Lilly, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions using Power BI, PowerApps, and other tools. Your responsibilities will include analyzing complex data sets to uncover actionable insights, identifying opportunities for data analytics to enhance decision-making, and effectively communicating results to stakeholders. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into BI solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI based on business needs. - Develop intuitive and responsive Canvas apps with a focus on exceptional user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). - Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and statistical analysis to support business strategy. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into BI solutions. - Connect and transform data from multiple sources into usable Power BI models. - Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability. - Develop DAX measures and Power Query logic for dynamic reporting. - Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity in reporting outputs. - Provide support and training to business users on Power BI dashboards and self-service BI usage. - Stay updated on Power BI features and data visualization best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, PowerApps, or similar Data Visualization tools. - Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service. - Proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL, and working with relational databases. - Experience in data wrangling, data cleaning, and transforming large datasets. - Ability to develop Power Apps applications for efficient handling of large datasets. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Experience with BI, data governance, and security roles in Power BI & PowerApps. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Azure Data Services, Power Automate, Python/R for advanced analytics. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project methodologies. - Certification in Microsoft Power Platform. - Knowledge of industry KPIs relevant to Drug Development/Pharma/Healthcare.
