Excel/Google Sheets – Data cleaning, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts. SQL – Extracting and querying data from databases. Python or R – For data manipulation, analysis, and automation. Data Visualization Tools – Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Google Data Studio. Statistics & Probability – Understanding of statistical methods and hypothesis testing. Data Cleaning & Wrangling – Preprocessing messy data for analysis. Machine Learning Basics – Predictive analytics, regression, classification (optional but valuable). Big Data Tools – Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark (for advanced roles). ETL Tools – Knowledge of data pipelines and integration tools. Cloud Platforms – AWS, GCP, Azure (for storage and analysis at scale). Soft Skills: Analytical Thinking – Ability to derive insights from complex data sets. Problem Solving – Using data to address business challenges. Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy in data work. Communication – Explaining insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
