Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, your role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, clean, and analyze data, communicating findings through clear visualizations and concise reports. **Key Responsibilities:** - Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources such as databases, APIs, and spreadsheets. - Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. - Develop dashboards and visual reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. - Design and execute statistical analyses, hypothesis tests, and predictive models. - Present insights to stakeholders and recommend data-driven actions. - Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and engineering teams to prioritize data needs. - Maintain documentation of data pipelines, definitions, and reporting logic. **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field (Masters preferred). - 2+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles. - Strong proficiency in SQL (including query optimization) and at least one scripting language (Python/R). - Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, and Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables). - Solid understanding of statistical concepts such as regression, clustering, and time-series analysis. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with big data platforms like AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake. - Familiarity with Python libraries (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, seaborn) or R tidyverse. - Knowledge of data warehouse architecture and ETL best practices. - Ability to work with unstructured data such as text, logs, and JSON. **Soft Skills:** - Excellent communication and storytelling ability. - Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Curiosity to learn new tools and business domains quickly.
