Data Analyst

Experience Level:

Role Overview

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

Key Responsibilities

Analyze engineering and product data across PLM platforms (Teamcenter)
Develop dashboards and reports to track product lifecycle metrics, BOM accuracy, and change management
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure data integrity across systems
Support PLM data migration, validation, and governance initiatives
Identify trends and anomalies in mechanical product data to improve design and production outcomes
Automate data workflows and improve reporting efficiency using tools like Python, SQL, & Power BI
Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal data protocols

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
4+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Strong understanding of PLM systems and product data structures
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI)
Familiarity with CAD systems and engineering documentation
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with ERP systems (SAP)
Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean methodologies
Exposure to regulatory environments (ISO, ASME, etc.)
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
