Data Analyst- MIS and Tableau specialist

You will be joining Citi's Analytics and Information Management (AIM) team, a global community that objectively connects and analyzes information to create actionable intelligence for business leaders. Your role will involve the following responsibilities: - **MIS reporting and visualization**: - Create insightful reports using Tableau as per project objectives - Develop efficient logic, test, and execute projects - Adapt quickly to changes in project requirements in a highly agile environment - **Data Transformation**: - Manipulate, aggregate, and transform data from multiple sources - Utilize Gen AI tools for enhanced productivity - **Sharing of results**: - Generate relevant insights and maintain leadership presentation decks - Synthesize analysis results quickly - **Domain Knowledge**: - Develop an understanding of the business domain and build expertise - Document details and create standardized use cases for FAQs and process documents Additionally, you will be responsible for various data activities such as database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management. Your day-to-day actions will focus on administering defined procedures, analyses, and report preparation. You will be expected to deliver routine outputs while developing a broader context of the work being performed. **Qualifications Required**: - Bachelor's or Master's degree with approximately 2 years of experience in data and visual analytics in Banking/Financial services support projects - Extensive hands-on experience in Tableau (including server) - Proficiency in preparing wireframes and dashboard designs - Strong experience in SQL and querying data from databases - Experience working with cloud-based, large datasets, data warehouses, and data transformation **Preferred Qualifications**: - Working experience in Python, Hive, Impala, DataIKU, Palantir - Experience with Cloud data platforms - Previous work experience in the BFSI sector with industry knowledge This job description offers a comprehensive overview of the responsibilities and qualifications required for the role.
