Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support our edible oil manufacturing operations in Mathura. This role will support plant operations by transforming data into actionable insights, analyzing and interpreting operational and production data to support decision-making, improve efficiency, reduce costs and maintain quality standards.

Role & responsibilities:

# Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to production, raw material usage, machine performance, and quality control.

# Develop and maintain performance dashboards and MIS reports for real-time visibility of plant operations.

# Provide data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency, reduce losses, and enhance product quality.

# Track and analyze daily production output, yield ratios, energy usage, downtime, and other plant KPIs.

# Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure data accuracy and system integration.

# Forecast inventory, demand, and raw material requirements using statistical and historical models.

# Support digital transformation and automation initiatives within the plant.

# Conduct variance analysis and support cost-reduction initiatives.

# Ensure timely and accurate reporting to corporate leadership and plant management.

Preferred candidate profile:

# Bachelors degree in engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.

(edible oil preferred).

# Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel (advanced), Power BI/Tableau, SQL.

# Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle) is desirable.

# Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail.

# Good understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations and quality systems.

# Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
