Key Responsibilities: - Design and Build Scalable Data Solutions - Improve data processing efficiency by ensuring scalability, speed, and reliability - Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, business teams, and product owners to understand data requirements and deliver reliable, well-structured products - Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and advocate for best practices in data engineering - Maintain existing dashboards, and identify and derive new KPIs/metrics to support data-driven decision-making - Perform complex joins/aggregations in PowerBI using DAX to derive necessary data models/metrics/KPIs - Utilize expertise in Databricks, Python, SQL queries, PowerBI, report server, data models, and more - Apply knowledge in Big Data Engineering, data architecture patterns, data engineering approaches, data engineering pipelines, troubleshooting Spark and other big data solutions, writing SQL queries, databases, analytics technologies, code management tools, cloud computing platforms, Azure tech stack, Azure Databricks, delta tables, Hive, Parquet files, Azure ADF pipelines, data analytics, complex event processing, Agile methodologies, and more - Have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams Qualification Required: - Bachelor of Engineering in EC, EE, or IS - Relevant certification in Data Science, AI/ML In addition to the above details, Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited offers a range of benefits to its employees, including employee discounts, health measures, mobile phone provision, meal allowances, retirement benefits, hybrid work options, mobility offers, employee events, coaching, flexible working hours, childcare support, parking facilities, on-site canteen and cafe, good accessibility, medical services, and more.
