Dance Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach dance to students from different age groups (primary to senior classes).
• Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons as per school curriculum or activity schedule.
• Teach a variety of dance styles (classical, contemporary, folk, hip-hop, etc.).
• Prepare students for stage performances, annual functions, competitions, and cultural events.
• Encourage participation and nurture talent in both beginners and advanced learners.
• Maintain discipline, classroom order, and ensure student safety during sessions.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff for integrated performances.
• Conduct rehearsals, workshops, and extra-curricular dance programs.
• Track and report student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or equivalent (preferred).
• Certification in dance training from a recognized institution (desirable).
• Prior experience teaching dance in a school or similar setting.
