Key responsibilities

• Teach dance techniques. Instruct students in foundational and advanced-level dance techniques across various styles.
• Choreograph routines. Create engaging and innovative choreography for recitals, competitions, or events.
• Develop lesson plans. Design structured lesson plans to meet students’ skill levels and performance goals.
• Assess student progress. Monitor and document students’ progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive environment. Create a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere to boost confidence and skill development.
• Plan recitals. Organize and lead recitals or showcases to highlight student achievements.
• Promote wellness. Incorporate physical wellness and safety practices into dance instruction.
• Provide private lessons. Offer tailored instruction for individuals or small groups.
• Collaborate with stakeholders. Work with studio owners, parents, or event organizers to align on program goals.

Qualifications and skills

• Education. A bachelor’s degree in dance, performing arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience. Prior teaching experience or professional dance background across various dance styles.
• Communication skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective instruction and feedback.
• Leadership skills. Ability to lead classes and mentor students of different ages and skill levels.
• Technical skills. Expertise in choreographing dance routines and teaching dance techniques.
• Organizational skills. Proficiency in creating lesson plans, managing schedules, and planning recitals.
• Adaptability. Capability to teach students of all ages and adjust teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Certifications. Professional certifications in dance instruction or wellness training are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,233.75 - ₹33,102.80 per month
