Dairy Food Technologist

As a Dairy Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of dairy products. Your responsibilities will include: - **Sample collection:** Collect milk and dairy product samples from production lines for analysis. - **Laboratory testing:** Perform routine tests such as pH, bacteria count, fat content, protein content, specific gravity, and presence of antibiotics on milk samples. - **Data analysis:** Interpret test results and identify any deviations from quality standards. - **Quality control:** Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. - **Equipment maintenance:** Regularly calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy of test results. - **Record keeping:** Maintain detailed records of test results and production data. - **Reporting:** Communicate test results to production teams and management, highlighting any quality issues. - **Compliance:** Stay updated on relevant food safety regulations and ensure adherence to industry standards. - **Troubleshooting:** Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during testing procedures.
