It is India’s only independent international film festival, with a mission to celebrate cinema & work of aspiring, young, independent & professional filmmakers. DPIFF has developed into one of the most significant and remarkable film festivals in Asia and is an annual celebration for film makers and artists in this Industry. Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team and contribute to the seamless execution of DPIFF’s operations, events, and initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating various projects, managing cross-functional team, and supporting the leadership in achieving organisational objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Event Management: Assist in planning, organising, and executing DPIFF events, including the annual award ceremony, CSR activities, and other associated events. - Team Coordination: Collaborate with multiple teams, including PR, marketing, content, and operations, to ensure alignment and timely delivery of tasks. - Stakeholder Management: Liaise with key stakeholders such as sponsors, partners, government bodies, and media representatives to maintain strong relationships and ensure smooth communication. - Content and Documentation: Oversee the preparation of proposals, reports, presentations, and other official documents as required. - Social Media and Marketing Support: Work closely with the marketing team to implement campaigns and amplify DPIFF’s digital presence. - Budgeting and Finance Coordination: Assist in budget planning, expense tracking, and financial reporting for projects and events. - Vendor Management: Identify, negotiate, and manage vendor partnerships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. - Problem Solving: Address operational challenges promptly, proposing effective solutions to ensure the success of initiatives. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in event management, operations, or a similar role, preferably within the entertainment or cultural sectors. - Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
