Essential Job Responsibilities
Write and execute automated test code in Java for web  legacy apps and product public API using xUnit BDD and latest opensource packages and technologiesWrite functional integration and customer workflow endtoend test automation to validate product functionality and integration with dependenciesDevelops modifies and executes software test plans automated scripts and programs for testingPlan and carry out performance load and stress testsParticipate in design architecture and code reviewsImplement execute and debug automated test scripts using various technology and toolsGenerate API levels Web UI and performance automated test scriptsProvide input and recommendations to solve technical problems and execute a welldefined remediation planWork closely with other quality and development engineers to build evolve and maintain a scalable continuous build and deployment pipelineDemonstrate proficiency in building technical documentationExperience working within an agile development process Scrum Kanban etc from the test design test automation and execution perspectiveWorking experience implementing test code within a continuous integration and delivery pipelineDemonstrated working proficiency of refactoring code and iterative developmentAbility to analyze and translate requirements and development stories into test automationComprehend new concepts quickly and apply them accurately within a rapidly evolving dynamic environmentApplying continuous integration and delivery concepts CICD using JenkinsHelp lead automation efforts and share best practices in test automationThe above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an allinclusive list of position responsibilities

Required Qualifications
4 years of QA andor development experience using industrystandard processes including some customer facing projects1 year of experience writing automated test scripts in Python andor Selenium WebDriver APIProficiency with at least one modern objectoriented programming language Java preferredStrong understanding of RESTHTTPSOAP and JSONKnowledge of XML XSD WSDLExperienced with Windows and Linux such as Red Hat or UbuntuAbility to set up test environments and test bedsExpertise testing all layers of a web application including frontend service layer and backend testing

Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of softwaretesting methodologies such as TDD BDD datadriven testingExperience working with cloud computing technologies eg  GCP AWSPerformance load and stress testing experienceFamiliar with container technologies eg  Docker Kubernetes or OpenShiftStrong knowledge of common web protocols networking and systemsExperience with implementing continuous integration and delivery concepts CICD using JenkinsRelated banking industry experience in platforms banking applications or online financial solutionsIndustry Certifications in Quality Assurance Agile or Public Cloud
