Job Description – Bid Manager / Sr. Bid Executive Experience: 3 – 6 Years Industry: IT Hardware, Networking, Data Centre, and System Integration Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bid Manager/Executive to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid/tender process, ensuring timely and compliant submissions, building strong relationships with OEMs and distributors, and leveraging AI tools for research, documentation, and productivity enhancement. Key Responsibilities Bid/Tender Management Review, analyze, and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs from government, PSU, and corporate clients. Coordinate with internal technical, design, and finance teams to prepare winning proposals. Ensure proposals meet compliance, technical, and commercial requirements. Manage the documentation process, including EMD, pre-bid queries, consortium agreements, and clarifications. OEM & Distributor Relations Develop and maintain strong working relationships with OEMs, authorised distributors, and suppliers. Coordinate for pricing, product specifications, certifications, and technical support. Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers to ensure competitive proposals. Business Intelligence & AI Tools Use AI-powered tools for bid document preparation, market research, competitor analysis, and knowledge management. Maintain and update bid libraries/templates for faster turnaround. Required Skills & Competencies Fair knowledge of IT hardware, networking, data centers, and system integration solutions. Proven experience (3–6 years) in bid management, presales, or tendering within a system integrator or OEM environment. Excellent understanding of government and corporate procurement processes. Ability to interpret technical documents, BOQs, and compliance checklists. Strong OEM/distributor/vendor network in IT & networking domains. Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, MS Copilot, or similar) for research, drafting, and data analysis. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and e-procurement portals. Qualifications Graduate Science/ Computer Science / IT / Electronics or equivalent.
