Job Description

As a Cyber Security Specialist at Garrett, your role involves monitoring and reviewing the cyber security status of projects to ensure compliance with ISO21434 standards. Your responsibilities include: - Performing independent reviews in accordance with ISO21434 and other relevant requirements. - Supporting the execution of cyber security assessments and audits with internal and external stakeholders. - Monitoring and reporting the cyber security status of the allocated project and identifying deviations to ISO21434. - Conducting regular alignments and reviews of the cyber security plan with the cyber security manager. - Challenging the cyber security status during Design Reviews and NPI phase gate exits to achieve cyber security maturity targets. - Collecting project cyber security lessons learned for process improvements. - Leading the identification of cyber security risks in project configurations and reporting them to the manager. - Defining internal cyber security KPIs to monitor project status. - Supporting the definition of cyber security engineering and management processes according to ISO21434. - Conducting internal cyber security training sessions and being in contact with the cyber security community to stay updated on standards. In addition, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring teams on cyber security, ensuring compliance in projects, and providing regular assessment of project cyber security status. Qualifications required for this role include: - Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer, or a technical equivalent - Cyber Security Manager certification Experience needed: - Minimum 8 years of automotive experience - Minimum 2 years" experience in ISO21434 roles - Minimum 5 years" experience with embedded SW products - Experience with electric products, preferably automotive, and system architecture definition Key skills and knowledge expected: - Deep knowledge of ISO21434, ASPICE, APQP, OEM/TIER1 product development - Familiarity with Agile development principles and requirements/SW development tools - Ability to interface with customers and suppliers, problem-solving skills, and strong leadership capabilities - Proficiency in English communication, both written and oral Garrett offers competitive salary and benefits, a hybrid work model, and a transparent, collaborative work environment.
