Cyber Security coordinator

Role & responsibilities

• Communication & Collaboration:

- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to promote a culture of security and ensure that everyone is aware of their security responsibilities.

- Work with different departments in the organization to reduce risk.

- Help different department for perform secured data exchange

- Support IT & Information Security team to monitor, control, and protect communications (i.e., information transmitted or received by organizational systems) at the external boundaries and key internal boundaries of organizational systems

- Support IT & Information Security team to track, document, and report information security incidents to designated officials and/or authorities

• Awareness building

- Provide awareness training focused on recognizing and responding to threats from social engineering, threat actors, breaches, and suspicious behaviours; update the training or when there are significant changes to the threat.

- Include practical exercises in awareness training that are aligned with current threat scenarios and provide feedback to individuals involved in the training and their supervisors.

• Support for security related reporting and KPIs

- Prepare security reports and KPIs and present. Point out improvement.

• Information Security Compliance

- Support Information Security team to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations related to information security

- Periodic review of both privileged and unprivileged accounts.

- Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and SOPs

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience and understand importance of Company's sensitive information
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of Reporting and KPIs
• Proficient with MS office
• Proactive rather than reactive
• Ability to think broad
• Knowledge on information security standards will be an added advantage
