Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Cyber Defence Operations Analyst to support enterprise security monitoring and incident response activities. This is a hands-on operational role focused on alert triage, incident investigation, and coordination within Microsoft-based security environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and triage security alerts and incidents within defined SLAs
Perform initial investigations and determine escalation or containment actions
Maintain accurate incident documentation and ticket updates
Coordinate daily SOC/CDO operations and shift handovers
Collaborate with internal teams during investigations
Identify alert trends, false positives, and tuning opportunities
Support runbook updates and operational improvements
Prepare basic incident metrics and reports

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in Cyber Defence Operations / SOC
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Security
Incident triage, alert handling, and case management expertise
Knowledge of endpoint, cloud, identity, and email security
Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
Good to Have:
KQL (Kusto Query Language)
PowerShell or Python scripting
Detection tuning and automation exposure
