Job Responsibilities: Team Management: Lead and manage a team of cutting operators and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure optimal productivity and quality. Cutting Process Oversight: Ensure the proper cutting of H-beams using cutting-edge technology, maintaining precision and compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Quality Control: Monitor the cutting process for any deviations or defects, ensuring that H-beams are cut to the correct dimensions and quality specifications. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of cutting equipment, including CNC machines, to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Coordinate repairs as needed. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all safety regulations are followed. Ensure that all workers are equipped with necessary safety gear and adhere to company safety standards. Process Optimization: Work on improving cutting efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing cutting schedules. Implement lean manufacturing principles where applicable. Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate with the production team to ensure cutting processes align with the overall project timelines and delivery schedules. Inventory Management: Track materials used in cutting processes and maintain stock levels for H-beams and other necessary supplies. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on cutting production, quality, and operational efficiency. Maintain accurate records of cutting activities, material usage, and machine performance.
