Cutlist Executive

Job Description

Cutlist Executive Experience: 1 to 3 years Location: Chennai Analyze drawings and specifications to determine the optimal use of materials and minimize waste. Generate cutlists from panel lists or 2D elevations, including the type and size of materials required for each project Generating estimates based on cutlist working. Generating material requirement list to forward to purchasing manager. Ensure that cutlists accurately reflect the specifications and requirements of each project. Monitor the use of materials and supplies, and order replacements as needed Maintain accurate records of materials and supplies, including the type, size, and cost of each item. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the use of materials and reduce waste. Desired Candidate Profile Detail oriented Experience in the measurement of the furniture Experience in the estimation, BOQ, layouts, Experience in AutoCAD now in production cutlist. Good in Excel sheet Experience 1 - 3 Years Qualification High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or a related field. Strong mathematical skills, with the ability to accurately calculate the quantity and size of materials required for each project. Deep understanding of woodworking, including the types and properties of different woods and the tools and techniques used in furniture manufacturing Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with project managers and production workers.
