You will be joining NEWJ as an Anchor for the Gujarati segment. NEWJ is a video-only, mobile-first publisher with a mission to tell impactful stories tailored for the young smartphone users in India. As an Anchor, you will play a crucial role in presenting news and current affairs content in an engaging and professional manner, building and maintaining IPs, researching and delivering compelling stories for the Gujarati-speaking audience. - Present news and current affairs content in an engaging and professional manner. - Build and maintain IPs for the channel in different genres. - Research and stay updated on the latest news, trends, and events in Maharashtra and India. - Develop and deliver compelling stories that resonate with the Gujarati-speaking audience. - Work closely with the production team to create high-quality video content. - Ensure all content aligns with the channel's tone, style, and brand guidelines. - Engage with viewers and respond to their comments and feedback. - Utilize knowledge of YouTube to optimize video content for better reach and engagement. - Conduct interviews with key figures, experts, and public personalities. - 3-4 years of experience in journalism, anchoring, or a related field. - Strong understanding of Gujarati culture, lifestyle, and current affairs. - Excellent command of the Gujarati language, both spoken and written. - Great camera presence and on-screen charisma. - Knowledge of YouTube platform operations, including SEO and analytics. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Good looking male/female candidate with a professional appearance.
