Job Description

As a Lead Customer Engineer at Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, you will play a vital role in providing interconnect power solutions to address technical challenges related to power for customers. Your responsibilities will involve: - Working closely with customers, internal product development, product marketing, and sales teams to develop innovative solutions - Accurately assessing customer needs and proposing modifications to existing products or new product concepts - Creating technical presentations to showcase solutions - Proficiency in internal systems such as Windchill and product configurators is essential - Providing key engineering documents and collaborating with various teams within the business unit Amphenol values hard work, commitment, and achieving pre-defined goals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain insights into Sales, Marketing, and Product Development functions. Your role will also involve: - Engaging with thermal engineering and simulation teams - Facilitating lab testing - Identifying emerging trends in the marketplace to differentiate products and solutions from competitors - 30% travel requirement to engage with customers and support design proposals Qualifications for this position include: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field - 2-5 years of proven experience in providing technical support within the connector industry - Proficiency in 3D modeling, Product Data Management tools like Creo and Windchill - Knowledge of ESS/EV Charging and Battery Management systems - Familiarity with industry specifications such as UL, EIA, IEC, and Telcordia - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication within a global organization - Strong organization, presentation, and customer service skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products If you are seeking a challenging role that allows you to make a significant impact in the field of interconnect power solutions within a dynamic and results-oriented environment, we encourage you to apply for the Lead Customer Engineer position at Amphenol Communications Solutions.,
