Customer Care Associate (Cashier)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Cashier (Customer Care Associate) who can efficiently handle the billing counter, manage cash transactions, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of contributing to the company’s growth through smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Greet customers politely and assist them during the checkout process.
• Contribute to increasing sales by promoting offers, recommending add-on purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Accurately process sales, refunds, exchanges, and returns.
• Handle cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and other digital transactions securely.
• Ensure correct billing and issue invoices/receipts to customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the billing counter.
• Adhere to company policies, including cash handling, safety, and security protocols.
• Deliver excellent customer service to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cashier or Customer Care Associate (minimum 6 months – 2 years preferred).
• Strong numerical ability and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Honest, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills

Education:

• Minimum 12th pass; Graduation preferred.

• Basic knowledge of billing software/POS systems.
• Numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle pressure in peak hours.

Kindly Note : This job is not for freshers. Minimum 6 months of experience is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
