Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites
• Customize WordPress themes and templates to meet project requirements
• Ensure website responsiveness and optimal performance
• Integrate and configure WordPress plugins as needed
• Develop custom WordPress plugins to enhance website functionality
• Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements
• Ensure content is SEO-friendly and optimized for search engines
• Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities and threats
• Optimize website performance, including speed and load times
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs
• Perform regular website backups and updates
• Work closely with designers, content creators, and other team members to ensure seamless website development and functionality
• Provide technical support and guidance to non-technical team members

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a portfolio of WordPress projects
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Knowledge of web development best practices, including SEO and web accessibility
• Familiarity with responsive web design principles
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
