As a Custom WordPress Developer at Orange MonkE, you will play a crucial role in crafting fast, SEO-friendly, and mobile-first digital experiences using modern web standards. Here's what you will be responsible for: - Writing clean, semantic HTML5 and utilizing CSS Grid, Flexbox, and Media Queries for creating responsive layouts, ensuring a goodbye to table-based design and bloated frameworks. - Converting Figma or XD designs into custom, lightweight WordPress themes without relying on page builders or pre-built themes. - Ensuring Core Web Vitals, performance, and accessibility standards are consistently met, including integrating structured data/schema markup to enhance search engine visibility. - Implementing basic technical SEO practices such as meta tags, header hierarchies, lazy loading, and optimized asset delivery. - Troubleshooting layout bugs, responsiveness issues, or console errors diligently before deployment. - Working independently on projects from inception to deployment, managing tasks proactively and taking ownership of your timelines.
