About The Role

Project Role :Custom Software Engineer

Project Role Description :Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Summary:As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving and innovation to ensure that the software solutions are tailored effectively to the requirements of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME.

Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.

Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance.

Continuously assess and improve development processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Anypoint Platform Expert:Full proficiency across the lifecycle, including Design Center, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange.

Advanced DataWeave:Mastery of complex data transformations and mapping across heterogeneous formats like JSON, XML, CSV, and EDI.

Architectural Patterns:Deep understanding of API-led connectivity, microservices architecture, event-driven frameworks, and enterprise integration patterns (e.g., Publish-Subscribe, Scatter-Gather), Deal with High volume of data

Performance tuning of API’s

CI/CD Automation:Expertise in building and managing pipelines using tools like Maven, Git, Jenkins

API Security Best Practices:Implementation of advanced protocols including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and encryption for data at rest and in transit.

Governance:Ensuring technical quality and compliance with organizational guardrails and the Center for Enablement (C4E) approach.

Strategic Problem-Solving:Acts as the primary point for resolving complex technical challenges and performance bottlenecks.

Business Acumen:Ability to translate technical ROI to stakeholders and align integration solutions with overarching business goals.

Good to Have Experience with Systems:Splunk, Dynatrace, Confluent Kafka Connectors:Salesforce, DB, Kafka, HTTP, Webservice,
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Mulesoft Anypoint Platform.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
