Job Description

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering courses that educate students from underprivileged communities about computer science fundamentals. You will guide students in understanding not only technical skills but also the ethical, social, and environmental implications of technology and digital practices, helping them develop the knowledge and skills necessary for responsible digital citizenship. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct computer science and basic programming classes for children from underprivileged communities. Create engaging and interactive lesson plans to enhance understanding of computer science concepts and coding. Incorporate innovative teaching methods and digital tools to make learning enjoyable and effective. Provide individualized attention to students to address their unique learning needs and pace. Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to organize educational events, tech workshops, and activities. Educate students on ethical technology use, digital responsibility, and environmental sustainability related to technology. QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in both English and Kannada is mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Teaching certification or relevant computer science teaching credentials is a plus. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic teaching environment. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field. Prior experience teaching computer science or working with underprivileged communities is preferred.
