Crisis Intervention (C.I.) Assistant

As a Mental Health Support Staff at Sanjivini, your primary responsibility will be to provide compassionate assistance to individuals in emotional distress. Your day-to-day tasks will include: - Handling Sanjivini Helpline Calls: Once trained, you will be the initial point of contact for individuals reaching out to the helpline. You will be expected to assess their needs, schedule appointments, and provide referrals under the guidance of senior team members. - Supporting Documentation: You will assist in preparing various documents, including letters, reports, presentations, client records, attendance sheets, and asset records on a regular basis. - Assisting in Program Coordination: You will play a key role in organizing logistics for workshops, community outreach programs, volunteer intake programs, and training programs. Additionally, you may be assigned other tasks as per the organization's requirements. Sanjivini is a notable non-profit organization dedicated to addressing mental health issues within the community since 1976. They offer free and confidential counseling services to individuals above 18 years old facing emotional challenges, along with rehabilitation support for those with severe mental illnesses like schizophrenia.
