Job Description: Social Media Specialist Cricket Location: Vadodara, Gujarat Position Type: Full-time We are seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our media and communications team. This role is designed for a dynamic, creative professional who can craft engaging narratives, amplify our client's digital presence, and connect with cricket fans globally. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Management Conceptualize, create, and publish engaging content (text, graphics, videos, reels, live updates) across all official social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, LinkedIn). Cover live matchdays, tournaments, player milestones, press conferences, and behind-the-scenes moments in real time. Build content calendars around cricket events, fixtures, and campaigns. Brand Building & Fan Engagement Strengthen brand voice by creating stories that celebrate players, teams, and community cricket initiatives. Drive interactive campaigns (polls, quizzes, contests, fan shoutouts) to increase audience participation. Monitor trends in cricket and sports media to keep content relevant and engaging. Analytics & Growth Track performance of posts, videos, and campaigns using analytics tools. Optimize strategies based on reach, impressions, engagement, and follower growth. Provide monthly reports and insights to management. Collaboration Work closely with the Media Manager, Coaches, and Cricket Operations team to ensure accurate and timely information dissemination. Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and designers for high-quality visual content. Support sponsors and partners with brand-aligned digital deliverables. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field. Experience: 1–5 years of proven social media/content creation experience (sports industry preferred). Technical Skills: Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or other creative tools. Knowledge of social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, etc.). Soft Skills: Strong writing skills with flair for storytelling. Passion for cricket and sports culture.
