Crew Member

Job responsibilities for a fast food restaurant crew member are typically diverse and rotate, covering both front-of-house and back-of-house duties. Key responsibilities include: Customer Service and Transactions (Front-of-House): * Greeting customers warmly and providing excellent service. * Taking orders accurately, often using a Point of Sale (POS) system. * Processing payments (cash and card) and accurately handling cash/making change. * Answering customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and promotions. * Resolving customer complaints promptly or escalating issues to a manager. * Serving food and drinks to customers. * Working the drive-thru station, if applicable. Food Preparation and Quality (Back-of-House): * Preparing and cooking food items according to standardized recipes and quality standards (e.g., operating fryers, grills, ovens). * Assembling and packaging food and drink orders. * Ensuring correct food presentation and portion sizes. * Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures. Cleanliness and Operations: * Maintaining a clean and organized work area (counter, food prep stations, kitchen). * Cleaning and sanitizing dining areas, tables, restrooms, and kitchen equipment. * Restocking supplies in dining areas, restrooms, and work stations (e.g., napkins, condiments, cups). * Assisting with inventory and informing management of low stock. * Performing opening and closing duties (e.g., refilling stations, cleaning equipment, taking out trash). Teamwork and Conduct: * Working efficiently as part of a team to fulfill orders quickly, especially during rush hours. * Being flexible and willing to perform different tasks as needed for the shift. * Following directions from supervisors or managers. * Maintaining a professional and positive attitude. * Being reliable and punctual for all scheduled shifts.
