Role & responsibilities Job Overview: A Society Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, management, and growth of a community or society. This includes handling member relations, planning events, managing communication, and ensuring that the society runs smoothly in alignment with its goals and values. Key Responsibilities: Member Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with members of the society. Address concerns and facilitate a welcoming, inclusive environment. Event Management: Plan, organize, and execute society events such as meetings, workshops, social gatherings, and professional development activities. Communications: Manage internal and external communications, including newsletters, emails to resolve queries & complaints. And member updates Budgeting: Create and manage the society's budget. Ensure funds are used appropriately and that financial goals are met. Collaboration: Work closely with other teams or departments (e.g., committees, board members, or external organizations) to align society initiatives with organizational objectives. Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks such as membership tracking, record keeping, and general society documentation, society maintenance Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies . Accounting: Having knowledge of Tally, Book keeping and Accountants Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in community or Society Management, Accounting, Administration any related field is preferred. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Leadership experience or potential. Budget management and financial planning experience. Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and event management platforms Education: A degree in management, communications, Accounting, or a related field is a plus but not required. Personal Qualities: Passion for community building and engagement. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
