As an Assistant Vice President, Data Engineering Expert at Analytics & Information Management (AIM) in Gurugram, you will play a crucial role in leading the Data/Information Management Team. Your responsibilities will include driving the development and implementation of data analytics solutions to support key business objectives for Legal Operations as part of the COO (Chief Operating Office). You will be expected to build and manage high-performing teams, deliver impactful insights, and foster a data-driven culture within the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Business Execution, Legal Data & Reporting activities for the Chief Operating Office by implementing data engineering solutions to manage banking operations. This will involve establishing monitoring routines, scorecards, and escalation workflows, as well as overseeing Data Strategy, Smart Automation, Insight Generation, Data Quality, and Reporting activities using proven analytical techniques. Additionally, you will be required to enable proactive issue detection, implement a governance framework, and interface between business and technology partners for digitizing data collection. You will also need to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management, stay updated with the latest trends in analytics, ensure compliance with data governance policies, and set up a governance operating framework to enable operationalization of data domains. To excel in this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience in Business Transformation Solution Design roles with proficiency in tools/technologies like Python, PySpark, Tableau, MicroStrategy, and SQL. Strong understanding of Data Transformation, Data Strategy, Data Architecture, Data Tracing & Lineage, and Database Management & Optimization will be essential. Additionally, experience in AI solutions, banking operations, and regulatory requirements related to data privacy and security will be beneficial. A Bachelor's/University degree in STEM is required for this position, with a Master's degree being preferred. Your ability to work as a senior member in a team of data engineering professionals and effectively manage end-to-end conceptualization & implementation of data strategies will be critical for success in this role.
