About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager with 4–5 years of proven experience in sales and collection operations within the banking or NBFC sector . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales targets, overseeing collections, handling client relationships, and leading a team to drive performance in line with business goals. Key Responsibilities: Sales Management: Drive business through the acquisition of new banking clients (loans, cards, or other financial products). Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to increase cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. Collections Management: Oversee the collection of dues from customers, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolution of payment delays. Lead the collection team to minimize NPAs and delinquencies. Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and bank policies related to collection practices. Team Leadership & Coordination: Manage and mentor field executives and tele-calling agents in both sales and recovery activities. Monitor team performance through KPIs and collection efficiency ratios. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales performance and collections. Provide management with insights on portfolio risk and suggest recovery strategies. Mandatory Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 4–5 years of experience in sales and collection roles in the banking or financial services industry . Excellent knowledge of loan products, credit cards, and banking operations. Strong understanding of collection procedures, legal recovery, and soft/hard collection tactics . Familiarity with Mumbai geography for field operations. Good communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems. Preferred Candidate: Resides in Mumbai . Has prior experience working with banks. Has handled high-volume collections and maintained strong recovery ratios.
