Credit Cards Analyst

Role Overview: Citi's Analytics and Information Management (AIM) team in North America Consumer bank is looking for a skilled professional to join their team in Gurgaon, India. As part of this team, you will be responsible for working with large and complex data sets, providing analytical support to business partners, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes. The role will involve leveraging programming tools such as SQL, SAS, and Python to analyze data, understand business needs, and propose solutions. Your ability to break down complex information, communicate effectively, and continuously improve processes will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Work with large and complex data sets for analysis and validation, utilizing programming tools like SQL, SAS, and Python - Collaborate with business partners to build, implement, and track project validation processes - Engage regularly with business partners to understand strategic priorities, propose solutions, and provide context - Continuously explore and evaluate new data sources, tools, and capabilities to improve processes and strategies - Communicate complex information effectively and diplomatically, exchanging potentially sensitive information with stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, operations research, or another quantitative field with strong relevant industry experience - 2-10 years of relevant experience - Proficiency in programming tools such as SQL, SAS, and Python, with relevant certifications - Good understanding of Credit card business financials, including P&L items and ability to make financial estimates based on macro-economic and historical trends - Experience in analyzing Credit card portfolios, including knowledge of interest rates, fees, interchange, penalty, etc. - Advanced process management skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail - Curiosity for learning and developing new skill sets - Positive mindset with a can-do attitude - Understanding of statistics and probabilities - Strong communication skills for writing documentation and collaborating with team members - Ability to work independently on projects without continuous supervision - Experience in working with Credit Cards and Retail Banking products is a plus - Control-oriented and risk-aware Note: The position is based in Gurgaon, India, and is a full-time role in the Credit Cards, Financial Services, and Banking industry.,
