Credit Cards Analyst

Key Responsibilities: - Work with large and complex data sets for analysis and validation using relevant programming tools such as SQL, SAS, and Python at a proficient level. - Collaborate closely with business partners to build, implement, and track project validation processes. - Engage regularly with business partners to grasp their strategic priorities, develop context, and proactively design solutions. - Continuously enhance processes and strategies by exploring new data sources, tools, and capabilities. - Communicate information in a systematic and clear manner, requiring developed communication and diplomacy skills to exchange potentially complex or sensitive information. Qualifications Required: - Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, operations research, or another quantitative field with significant industry experience. - 2 to 10 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency or certification in relevant programming tools like SQL, SAS, and Python. - Good understanding of credit card business financials, capable of deriving financial estimates from macro-economic and historical trends. - Experience in analyzing credit card portfolios, including knowledge of interest rates, fees, interchange, penalties, etc. - Advanced process management skills, organized, and detail-oriented. - Eagerness to learn and develop new skill sets, with a positive mindset. - Understanding of statistics and probabilities. - Strong communication skills for proper documentation and teamwork. - Ability to work independently on projects without continuous supervision. - Experience in credit cards and retail banking products is advantageous. - Control-oriented and risk-aware.
