Job Description

As an incoming resource, you will be responsible for working on detailed financial models and drafting credit reports. The role may involve working as either an individual contributor or a team lead, collaborating with 2-4 analysts based on your experience and alignment with the team's needs. Key Responsibilities: - Conducting detailed analysis of loan opportunities across various sectors in different geographies - Drafting credit reports with key takeaways in a concise and easy-to-read format for credit and risk review - Developing detailed financial models including transaction details, financial statement analysis, projections, ratio analysis, credit metrics, among others - Conducting sensitivity analysis on projections for stress testing on loans for serviceability - Identifying deal-specific covenants that can act as early warning signals during loan monitoring - Performing detailed industry/market studies to understand the operating environment of borrowers - Interacting with clients to discuss data gaps, inconsistencies, and analytical frameworks Qualifications Required: - Strong financial analysis skills with a thorough understanding of accounting and financial concepts - Mandatory experience in CRE (Commercial Real Estate) - Ability to draft credit reports - Relevant experience of 6+ years - Strong communication skills for interactions with Debt Directors, clients, and other stakeholders in the UK and/or US - Personal attributes such as being proactive, flexible, creative, result-driven, responsible, curious, a team player, and a fast learner - Hands-on attitude with the willingness and capability to understand the big picture - Ability to succeed in a culture where change and speed are part of daily work - MBA/PGDM/CA/CFA from a reputed institute The company may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
