Job Description

Role Overview: As a Credit Analyst in the Business Banking division, your primary role will involve analyzing financials, banking activities, and other credit-related tasks. You will be responsible for assessing documentation for the sanctioning of facilities, monitoring post-sanction compliance, and coordinating with various stakeholders for facility approvals. Your commitment to the code of conduct, timely completion of mandatory e-learnings, and portfolio management support will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will be involved in portfolio quality and risk management, ensuring client satisfaction, and meeting revenue targets. Key Responsibilities: - Support Relationship Managers in managing relationships to achieve revenue and profit targets - Handle deals from concept to completion, focusing on transaction structuring and documentation - Assist Relationship Managers in onboarding NTB clients for Trade and Bundles FX - Maintain strong client relationships and provide quality service - Prepare high-quality Business Credit Applications with minimal rework Processes: - Daily annotation of transactions as per the DOI - Timely response to Transaction Monitoring, SAR, RFI, and CDD actionable items - Review and closure of ASTAR items, covenants, deferrals, and pending documents within TAT People & Talent: - Ensure compliance with all covenants and reporting requirements - Maintain rapport with clients and provide quality service Risk Management: - Report deteriorating credit risks in the portfolio and take necessary steps to minimize losses - Ensure timely renewals of accounts and compliance with regulatory requirements Governance: - Uphold the code of conduct and complete mandatory e-learnings on time Regulatory & Business Conduct: - Demonstrate exemplary conduct and adhere to the Group's Values and Code of Conduct - Take personal responsibility for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations Qualifications: - Graduate degree Additional Details of the Company: Standard Chartered is an international bank committed to making a positive difference for clients, communities, and employees.
