Job Responsibilities:Formulation & Development: Develop and formulate high-quality cosmetic products (skincare, haircare, beauty). Create stable, effective, and innovative formulations using approved ingredients. Customize formulations based on brand vision, performance requirements, and skin/hair types. Ingredient Research & Testing: Source, select, and evaluate raw materials. Conduct ingredient compatibility and stability testing. Ensure use of safe and compliant ingredients as per regulatory standards (BIS/FDA/EU, etc.). Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all formulations comply with local and international cosmetic regulations. Prepare and maintain necessary documentation (MSDS, COA, PIF, etc.). Handle product testing – dermatological, stability, preservative efficacy, and more. Manufacturing & Production Oversight: Oversee pilot batch and full-scale manufacturing processes. Maintain consistency, quality control, and production timelines. Ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) are followed. Packaging Compatibility: Test formulations with different packaging types to ensure product stability. Recommend suitable packaging for cosmetic and haircare products. Cost Optimization: Balance formulation quality and cost to meet business targets. Suggest ingredient substitutions to reduce cost without compromising quality. Innovation & Trends: Stay updated with industry trends, new ingredients, and technologies. Recommend and develop trend-based product innovations (e.g., clean beauty, sulfate-free, vegan, ayurvedic blends). Client Communication (for Manufacturers): Work closely with brand team for product briefs and development feedback. Provide samples, iterations, and testing updates in a timely manner.

1. Accounting and Bookkeeping Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in general ledger entries.
