Accountant

1. Accounting and Bookkeeping Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in general ledger entries. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports (balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.). Handle data entry related to invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries. 2. Accounts Payable and Receivable Manage accounts payable and receivable activities, including issuing invoices and processing supplier payments. Follow up on outstanding receivables and maintain updated aging reports. 3. Bank Reconciliation Perform monthly bank reconciliations by matching bank statements with internal financial records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. 4. Financial Reporting Support Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Help with budget preparation and monitoring. 5. Taxation and Compliance Support Assist in preparing documents required for tax filings (TDS, GST, Income Tax, etc.). Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies. 6. Payroll Assistance Support the HR and accounts team in preparing employee salary sheets. Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, and bonuses. 7. Audit Assistance Assist internal and external auditors during audit processes by providing necessary documents and records. Help with audit schedules and explanations as needed. 8. Inventory and Asset Management Assist in tracking company assets and inventory for accounting purposes. Maintain updated records of depreciation schedules. 9. Expense Management Verify employee expense claims and ensure timely reimbursement. Maintain proper documentation of all company expenses. 10. General Administrative Support Maintain and organize financial records both digitally and physically. Provide support to the finance manager and senior accountants in special projects or assignments.
