Select premium materials, including selvedge denim, full-grain leather, linings, and trims, to ensure quality and functionality in every design. Collaborate with artisans to produce high-quality prototypes, refining designs for fit, durability, and style. Collaboration and Coordination Work closely with production teams to ensure design feasibility, cost-efficiency, and adherence to timelines. Qualifications: Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in designing premium clothing, leather goods or apparel. Technical Skills Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools. In-depth understanding of leather types, garment construction, and artisanal techniques. Soft Skills Strong creative vision with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Each piece is handcrafted in small batches at our Gurgaon workshop. We are now looking for someone to help connect the dots between customers, production, and dispatch — ensuring every order, customization, and commitment runs smoothly. Role Overview The E-Commerce Merchandiser will act as the bridge between the workshop, customer support, and dispatch team . The person will track every order from placement to delivery , ensure timely movement of production, follow up on pending materials, create production and delay sheets, and ensure that all customer commitments and customizations are clearly communicated and fulfilled. This role demands sharp coordination, strong follow-ups, and excellent attention to detail . Key Responsibilities - Order Management Maintain and update the master order sheet daily (new orders, cancellations, custom orders, etc.). Create production order sheets for the workshop, ensuring clarity on size, leather, color, sole, customization, etc. Track order progress from cutting → stitching → finishing → quality check → dispatch. Flag delayed or at-risk orders early and push the workshop for delivery. Coordinate with dispatch for ready orders and ensure tracking details are updated. Production Coordination Serve as the single point of communication between workshop and office. Create and update red sheets for delayed or problematic orders. Maintain promissory sheets for committed dispatch dates. Track availability of materials, soles, leathers, and accessories — escalate shortages in advance. Ensure that special or customized orders are clearly communicated to workshop teams. Customer & Support Coordination Work closely with the customer support team to provide accurate timelines. Share daily or weekly updates on delayed, customized, or high-priority orders. Ensure all customer promises made (size exchanges, custom fits, repair jobs, etc.) are scheduled and completed. Reporting & Analysis Maintain dashboards for: Total orders in process Orders delayed vs. on-time Materials out of stock Custom orders in queue Prepare weekly reports for management on production performance and delivery timelines. Skills & Requirements 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce operations, merchandising, or production coordination . Strong command of Excel / Google Sheets and basic data management. Good understanding of order flow in manufacturing-led e-commerce (fashion, footwear, or leather goods preferred). Excellent communication and follow-up skills — proactive in chasing updates. Extremely organized and reliable with a problem-solving mindset. Comfortable working closely with workshop staff, office team, and customer support.
