CPI/DS Lead consultant - SAP Cloud Platform

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Design Workshops: Facilitate and lead design workshops with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and define integration solutions.
• Architect Integration Solutions: Design comprehensive end-to-end integration architectures using CPI-DS, covering various data sources and targets including customer data lakes.
• Develop Complex HCI Tasks: Build sophisticated HCI tasks enabling data exchange between SAP IBP and systems such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, APO, HANA, Side Car, flat files, and databases.
• Scripting and Web Services: Apply Pre-Scripts and Post-Scripts within CPI-DS tasks; implement web-service based integration, especially for data transfers between IBP and ECC/APO.
• IBP Integration Expertise: Deep understanding of SAP IBP attributes, master data, and planning levels to ensure precise data integration.
• Administration and Scheduling: Manage scheduling and administration of CPI-DS tasks for optimal flow performance and reliability.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior CPI team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
• Project Delivery: Deliver high-quality integration solutions under tight deadlines with excellent time management.
• Customer Engagement: Lead CPI-DS integration and configuration activities onsite at customer locations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• SAP Integration: Minimum 5+ years hands-on SAP integration experience, including 3+ years with CPI-DS and SAP Data Intelligence (SDI).
• Project Implementation: At least 4 full lifecycle SAP CPI-DS implementations and 1 SAP SDI implementation.
• CPI-DS & SDI Expertise: Proven expertise in CPI-DS and SDI functionalities and best practices.
• System Integration: Skilled in integrating SAP IBP with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, APO, HANA, BW, flat files, and various databases.
• Functional Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW, and SAP IBP integration.
• XML Proficiency: Solid understanding of XML input/output in CPI-DS tasks.
• ABAP Knowledge: Basic understanding of ABAP programming.
• IBP Add-ons & Extractors: Familiarity with IBP add-ons and data extractors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• HANA Knowledge: Familiar with HANA tables, Virtual Data Models (VDMs), and OData services.
• API Exposure: Experience with API integration, including MuleSoft and RAML specifications.
• IBP Functional Experience: Hands-on experience in SAP IBP modules like Demand Planning, SOP, Inventory Management, and Response & Supply.
• PI/PO Knowledge: Working knowledge of SAP Process Integration (PI) / Process Orchestration (PO).
