CPI/DS Lead consultant - SAP Cloud Platform

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Architecture

• Lead design workshops with business and IT stakeholders to gather integration requirements
• Architect scalable, efficient end-to-end integration solutions using CPI-DS and SDI
• Design data flows between SAP IBP and systems such as S/4HANA, ECC, APO, HANA, BW, and flat files

Development & Configuration

• Develop complex HCI tasks within CPI-DS
• Configure and manage Pre-Scripts and Post-Scripts for data transformation and validation
• Implement web-service-based integrations for seamless data exchange between systems (e.g., IBP ? ECC/APO)

IBP & Data Expertise

• Understand SAP IBP components, including attributes, master data types, and planning levels
• Lead and manage data integration processes involving SAP IBP and other enterprise systems

Administration & Delivery

• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot CPI-DS jobs for high system performance
• Mentor junior consultants and enforce adherence to best practices
• Deliver projects on time, even under aggressive timelines or short notice

Customer Engagement

• Lead on-site and remote configuration, integration, and delivery
• Collaborate with client teams through UAT, go-live, and post-go-live support phases

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years in SAP integration, including at least 3 years in CPI-DS and SDI
• Completed 4+ end-to-end CPI-DS implementation projects
• At least 1 full-cycle SDI implementation project
• Strong knowledge of SAP IBP integration with ECC, S/4HANA, APO, and external systems
• Proficient with XML data formats and basic ABAP for integration scenarios
• Working knowledge of SAP IBP extractors and add-ons

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with SAP HANA tables, VDMs, and OData services
• Exposure to MuleSoft, RAML specifications, and API-based integrations
• Functional experience in SAP IBP modules such as Demand Planning, S&OP, Inventory, and Response & Supply
• Knowledge of SAP PI/PO for legacy integrations

• Ability to work independently and lead integration teams across global delivery models
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach junior consultants
