Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated MSW or Psychology student/graduate as a Counsellor Intern who is passionate about mental health, emotional well-being, and human development. The intern will conduct counselling sessions, manage case documentation, and participate in mental health awareness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• He/She will independently conduct individual counselling sessions
• Maintain client case records and documentation
• Support in mental health awareness programs, workshops & outreach
• Conduct basic psychological assessments
• Participate in case discussions and training
• Help in follow-ups and client coordination
• Assist in creating mental health content, reports, and feedback analysis
• Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards at all times

Eligibility Criteria

• Pursuing or completed: MSW (Master of Social Work) OR BA/MA Psychology / Applied Psychology, BA / BSc in Psychology
• Strong interest in mental health and counselling
• Good communication & listening skills
• Basic knowledge of counselling techniques & ethics
• Fluent in English & Malayalam (preferred)
• Ability to handle sensitive issues with empathy
